I was invited along with Louise from our Art Team to work at the recent London Fashion Week. This was a hugely exciting opportunity to work alongside some very talented hairdressers and makeup artists.
We worked on the PPQ A/W15 collection and our lead stylist was Robert Eaton. The look he created was inspired by gothic fairytale and the shape was a classic beehive with a modern dark twist.
We started by plaiting the hair at the back this created support to pin two vertical Victorian style rolls into. The top was backcombed and brushed over these, pinning the hair in and giving an elongated beehive shape.
After this, we created an ‘S’ shape in the hair at the front using heated irons and brushed this out over the formed shape looking almost untamed.
Wella System Professional Luxe Oil range of products were used to give a stunning catwalk worthy finish.
It was crazy working backstage with everyone asking questions and taking photos – what a great buzz!
We learned lots of new techniques and met some great people along the way… all fantastic experience for the KH Hair Art Team, bring on the next LFW16! A few backstage piccies below…
